In my workshops, I will be sharing with you my style and technique of painting with vivid, loose brushstrokes, and not being overworked. I will teach you how to keep your paintings looking fresh, vibrant and spontaneous.
The way I like to teach in my workshops, is by starting a painting and then letting the students “catch up”, with individual instruction. I feel like this helps the students not have that “lost” feeling after watching an instructor complete a 2-hour demo and then say “ok, now it’s your turn”. I will go over how I mix my colors to create the vibrancy, how I get in and get out, keeping my paintings looking spontaneous. You can usually complete a painting during each session. If you would rather, you may bring your own reference photos. Everyone will have plenty of individual instruction.
My workshops are for intermediate and advanced painters. By using my techniques and vivid colors, you can work on starting to create your own style of painting. This is how I learned throughout the years, is taking from many different instructors and picking up something from each one of them, and creating my own style.
